For Residents

When starting residency studies, residents enter into an employment contract with the hospital at the Department of Personnel Records Management of RIGA EAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.

The process of resident training is coordinated by the doctors of RIGA EAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL  responsible for the supervision of a particular residency speciality in cooperation with the residency programme managers of higher education institutions. By the end of each month, residents have to submit working timetable of RIGA EAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL  for the next month and a report on the training work performed in the previous month (practical training in rotation disciplines, theoretical seminars, duties or extra hours) to the doctor responsible their speciality.
